Noto, the golden Baroque capital of South-East Sicily, is about 55 minutes south (≈70 km), often combined in a day with the Vendicari nature reserve and a swim at Calamosche or San Lorenzo beach.
Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA) is only 30 minutes north by car (≈40 km) on the A18/A19 motorway — the easiest arrival point for international travellers flying into South-East Sicily.
